On Sunday, June 21st, Durand First United Methodist Church began in-person worship outdoors, weather permitting.  Service begins at 11am.  In the event of adverse weather, service will be held inside, limited to 50 persons.  Social distancing and additional precautions will be practiced.  The church is located at 10016 Newburg Road.

Earlier this month, First Congregational Church of Durand introduced Backyard Worship.  Pastor Steve and Melanie Wood lead worship from the back deck of the parsonage.  All are welcome.  Bring chairs, wear masks and social distance.  Service begins at 10am.  The parsonage is located next to the church, 403 N. Saginaw Street.

Lennon Wesleyan Church, 11280 Lennon Road, has been holding parking lot worship services since late May, as well as broadcasting its service on the radio and on Facebook Live.

To listen to the radio brodcast, tune to 89.9 if you are near the church.  This option is nice for persons who wish to be on site but would prefer to stay in their vehicle.

Let us know your church's reopening plans and we will be happy to share them.  Email hello@shiawasseenews.com.
